In those versions, the plugin’s own Update now button could switch the updated plugin off — and when updating XYZ Theme itself, show “Sorry, you are not allowed to access this page.” This is fixed in 2.11.

  1. Go to Plugins and click Activate under XYZ Theme, plus any other plugin you updated with Update now.
  2. Update XYZ Theme to 2.11 from Dashboard → Updates or the Plugins page (not from the plugin’s own Update now button, just this once).
  3. That’s it — from 2.11 on, Update now and Update everything keep your plugins active.

Is the plugin free?

Yes — the XYZTheme Updater plugin is completely free. You just need an active XYZTheme membership (or an individual product purchase) for the items you want to update.

Does it update themes as well as plugins?

Both. Any premium theme or plugin in your library shows up in the standard WordPress updates screen and updates the same way.

Will my clients see my account?

Not in white-label mode. Enable it and the membership, credits, purchases and account name are all hidden — clients only see the update tools under your brand.

How often does it check for updates?

Automatically every 12 hours, plus instantly whenever you open the plugin or the WordPress updates screen. You can also check on demand.

Is it safe to run on live sites?

Yes. Every package is malware-scanned, downloads are token-authenticated and served over a CDN, and your password is never stored on the site.
